When the villagers are wary of him, Logan asks, "Did I step on a duck?" This is likely a reference to the line Rodney Dangerfield says after farting in Caddyshack. Which, to be fair, would not be the strangest reason to keep away from someone.

Nightcrawler's reflection is also seen in the mirror, reiterating his advice to Wolverine.

All episodes deal with Wolverine's history and difficulty controlling his rage.
