The End of My Pokemon Journey
Well,i decided to watch pokemon since i wasn't able to watch the whole series when i was a kid.It was all farts and giggles until season 9.
I started to watch the first episode and something just didn't feel right..As I was wondering what it was it suddenly struck me!They changed all the voice actors!Ash,May,Brock,Max and the whole team rocket.
And thats when I just turned my DVD player off and put the disk in my "useless junk" drawer. They probably had some good reason to change the voices but,if a series has gone on so long that you have to change the voice actors,i think it's time to call it quits.A good example I'd like to point out is Avatar - The last airbender.Three amazing seasons of never ending action and journey. It ended very smoothly but everyone was burning with the lust for more! But they knew that just milking a show will only lower it's quality.I think that's what make Avatar one of the best animes that has come to our TV screens. But this isn't an Avatar review is it.Sorry but thats just a comparison i have to make.
Anywho,my Pokemon journey ended with season 9.After watching the gangs adventures for 9 whole seasons, you just can't except the voice change and continue viewing like nothing happened. But if you just don't care about that,I guess you could keep viewing.I don't want to give spoilers but, Ash and May struggle, evil attacks,Team Rocket blasts off evil is defeated with love and compassion, everyone learns their lesson and all is well. It's not that i don't like love and compassion, but after 400 episodes,It starts to get old.
