Steve Loxton hands his notice in, but is determined to leave Sun Hill with one last conviction.
I thought this was a very unusual episode, initially I couldn't help but wish that they'd just left it there in the previous episode, the first half of this one is a little blank, but the second half is great.
Loxton was obviously worthy of a big leaving episode, Tom Butcher got two.
There is no denying that Steve Loxton was a divisive character, but he did have a presence, and was always consistent. Personally I wasn't a huge fan of the character, but I think the show will be worse off for his absence.
Very good second half, 8/10.
