Trivia:

The site used by the killer (www.killwithme.com) actually exists. It's owned by the movie studio and it's used to promote the movie. In it, users are taken to a replica of the FBI computer used by the character Jennifer Marsh. Her desktop gets hacked by the killer who provides the visitor with four test he/she must complete to deactivate his site.

Goofs:

Factual errors: A website cannot change IP's on the fly. The global DNS system has a propagation time needed which is somewhere around couple of hours to a day or two currently. Furthermore, if a browser can trace a website (log on to it to get content) so can you. You do not need a supercomputer to do so. Furthermore, if it were possible, and if the website were able to constantly change IP's to become untraceable it would not be able to stream video, as which each IP change the stream would break.

Good enough to be worth your while, probably not to own.

The movie had a few things going in its favor. For one, it used reasonable technology and background, so the story wasn't far-fetched. Secondly, and most importantly in my eyes, it did NOT go for shock value. It didn't try to use gore to elicit a reaction from the crowd. Not to say that some scenes weren't rough on the eyes, but it was far from a Saw or Hostel. Thirdly, it honestly kept me on the edge of my seat for a good portion of the movie. And lastly, the ending does not drag itself out. It ends at the logical point.

That having been said, this movie will not change your life. It's a little bit of a commentary on society, but moreso, it's just an entertaining movie to watch.
