- Having made it out of the city Jay and Tyler elude police and seek refuge at the remote estate of Tyler's father, Carlton Fog. He has hired a powerful company to get the boys out of the country. - The boys are on the run; Jay reminisces about Will while Tyler steers them to Elysium, his filthy rich dad Carlton Fog's secret country estate. After a car slip, they make it on foot trough the woods and are promised everything will be solved by the elusive firm Fallbrook Dunn, which can even prevent a financial crisis wrecking top politicians' careers. Jay is suspicious, especially about the lie detector test Ellington, a top lawyer hired by Carlton, submits them to, and hesitates to be taken with Tyler to safety in Switzerland. FBI agent in charge Fred Chambers interrogates Jay's girlfriend Kim Doherty while the charcoaled remains presumed to be Will's are examined. Elington drove the mates only a few miles when a police car stops them, he gets out and shoots the deputy; the boys run for their lives, capture him after a fight but can't make him talk, just lie to his boss the job was done; they now trust nobody anymore.—KGF Vissers
