Warning: Spoilers
After a long, boring day of school, a groggy Beavis and Butt-head wait to board the bus. They decide to sleep on the way home, but conk out even before they can get on. They're awakened just in time to see the bus head out of sight. Left with no other alternative, the boys decide to walk home, as Butt-head knows a shortcut. They end up getting lost and try asking a fellow for help, but unfortunately they don't know their address or where exactly they're going. They do know that there's a tree there and the guy next door has a brown truck. They get nowhere and head to a gas station to ask the attendant for help. Butt-head remembers they live next to a guy named Anderson, and the attendant points them in the right direction, or so they thought. The meet the other Mr. Anderson, and Beavis remembers they live next to the Maxi-Mart, only they end up at the wrong one. The boys discover they're clear on the other end of town, but the kindly attendant offers to give them a ride to their high school, as it was the end of his shift. So, Beavis and Butt-head fall asleep in the back of his truck all the way to school. Beavis and Butt-head's journey now coming full circle.

Hopefully after this experience, the boys will be more careful about catching their bus. Well, history nearly repeats itself the next day, except this time Beavis and Butt-head manage to catch the bus before it takes off and they sleep all the way to the last stop and are forced off. They have no idea where they are, but Butt-head says he knows a shortcut, so they head off on yet another perilous trek.

If you've ever been lost before, you know exactly what the boys are going through in this episode. If they hadn't already made a B & B movie, this would have been a good enough plot for a big screen romp: Beavis and Butt-head get lost and encounter a series of wild adventures. Beavis and Butt-head Do America was awesome, and it sort of started out that way, except the boys were looking for their stolen TV. I recommend that movie and I also recommend "Shortcuts", some of which are never worth taking, but this one is.
