A Tour de Force for Mr. Raygun
peter-goldson25 September 2006
Mr. Reagan once said, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall." Though the wall still stands in Berlin, the wall blocking Ronnie Raygun from super-stardom is being taken down one brick at a time by gifted masons (and actors) Tony Zazzi and Vickers Bastard.

Dawn is a film unlike others. Well, it was filmed with cameras and such, I would guess, but other than that, its unlike others. For one, the cinematographer's name is Scooter. So thats pretty huge. Another is the flies. I've seen a lot of animatronic flies. These ones are by FAR the most realistic.

In addition, the performances are top drawer. Mr. Zazzi, a first time actor, shines as the guy in the white face. You really do believe that if the log rolls, they'll die. And Vickers Bastard. You can see the horror in his eyes and the fear in his loins. Without ruining the end, I would have to say that the end has one of the most shocking cinematic twists ever filmed. You will be AMAZED and you will never see it coming.

Finally, the direction of Mr. Raygun is superb, though somewhat out-shined by the sound work. Whomever operated the boom mic surely deserves an Oscar, or at least a dwarf-like servant, as the incredible sound work truly is outstanding.

All in all, A. Great. Film. Smooth transaction. Would do business again.
