Factual errors: Wolf and his men are referred to as soldiers. Soldier is a term reserved for those who have served in the Army. Wolf and his men are Marines, and are therefore called Marines, not soldiers.
Factual errors: Wolf and his men are supposed to come from a platoon known as the 1013. The Marine Corps refers to platoons either as a number showing them as a part of the company, battalion, regiment and division, such as 1st Platoon, B Company, 3rd Battalion, 12th Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, or companies break up their platoons by function, like Headquarters platoon. Calling a platoon the 1013 would not be done, or would be extremely atypical.
Factual errors: Mr. Wolf is supposedly a SGT/E5 after 15 years in the Marine Corps. However, Marines who do not achieve the rank of SSGT/E6 after 12 years of service are discharged from the Marine Corps.
Revealing mistakes: Blood marks/stains on both skin and clothing throughout the season remain bright red instead of eventually turning dark brown and drying.
