- Vince & E have signed Amanda (Carla Gugino) as Vince's new agent. The boys want to pay for Vince's birthday party as their gift, but Turtle's overspending maxes all their credit cards. Turtle is $50,000 over budget. The whole budget was supposed to be $ 50K. Turtle books a super yacht as the venue for the party. He has a 800 person guest list. E agrees to go upto $35 K, Drama and Turtle have to come up with the rest. With their backs to the wall, the guys cannot decide how to cut costs. So, Turtle decides to make money from the party instead.
Amanda keeps sending scripts for Vince & E to read. Amanda's scripts are more sensitive & frankly Vince & E don't get most of them. Amanda says that she can get Vince a popcorn movie any day, but they wanted a movie that they could sink their teeth into. She gives them the script of Sam Mendes's Glimpses of the Moon. She takes them to a Lakers game (courtside seats) on Vince's birthday. Ari is sitting across the court with clients of his own. Ari is heartbroken. He knows that Amanda is just wrong for the guys. Ari knows that Amanda will be invited to Vince's birthday party and Ari has no invite. Vince likes the script, but it was a little hard for him to finish without a dictionary. Vince tells Amanda he loved the script and green lights the project from his end.
Desperate to get Vince back as client from Amanda, Ari practically begs for a meeting with Vince and throws in the perfect gift - Vince's dream script Medellin (Vince ends up inviting Ari to his birthday party), but a dead duck according to Amanda. Ari had asked E to check with Amanda, why she didn't pitch Medellin to Vince. Amanda says that actor named Benicio is signed on for the role of Pablo Escobar, and that has not changed and hence its a dead duck. Amanda is angry that Ari is pitching scripts to Vince behind her back. E clarifies that this is a passion project for Vince and he has been dying to it since before Aquaman.
Drama is obsessed with his Eddie Burns movie's billboard. He poses in front of it & gets Turtle to take pictures until someone recognizes him.
Turtle gets Victoria's Secret to sponsor the entire party. Lobster, Kobe beef and Cristal champagne. No expense is spared. Amanda meets Vince and confirms that Medellin is dead. They start shooting with Benicio in 4 weeks. Ari confronts Amanda at the party & says that Medellin is in play. He promises Vince that he can get the movie. Ari tells Vince that he cares so much, that it doesn't matter to him how stupid he looks if it doesn't come out right. Vince tells Ari that he just wants to be friends and that Amanda is his agent now. Yet, Vince asks Amanda to hold off on a project that he said yes to, just in case Ari is right.
