Duke Dexter's hit single from Titan Goes Pop (1964) appears in this episode, in the scene where Troy and Atlanta are dancing.
The galleon that is used in this episode is the same galleon that Troy rescued Commander Shore and Phones from in "The Ghost Ship." It was originally donated to the maritime museum at the end of The Ghost Ship (1964), and Admiral Jack Denver would go on to borrow it in this episode.
The APF Standard in the opening credits is displayed in intense red unlike the previously broadcast episodes in which the APF Standard was showing in either grey or very pale grey-blue.
