Sweet and funny.
Sleepin_Dragon29 August 2021
The ladies are after a cooker for the church, they strike a tough deal with Auntie, Howard and Marina want some quiet time.

I enjoyed this, it's much better than the series opener, the usual mix of sweet and silly, with two very funny moments. Nice to see the ladies trooping in to Auntie's, it makes a.change from it always being Howard or Barry.

I laughed our loud at Howard and Marina our jogging, and then at the scene with Smiler and the runaway cooker, both scenes felt like they were borrowed from the show's earlier years.

Howard and Marina continue to be the standout on the show for me, they are so sweet and funny, am also really liking the new Policeman, his facial expressions are great.

Enjoyed, 7/10.

Up a gum tree
Prismark1017 December 2018
Clegg climbs up a big tree to see the Tollgate church clock tower from his youth and then gets stuck. The others have to figure a way to get him down.

I was surprised as to how Clegg managed to get up the tree as well being in a state to reminiscence about a bunch of people never ever been mentioned in the show such as little Bobby Watson who moved to Luton.

Marina and Howard talk about having a wrestling latch in the country, they just need a referee, not knowing that Clegg is up a tree above them.

Alvin volunteers to climb up and rescue Clegg.

Smiler learns magic tricks to impress people at parties. He ends up getting a speeding ticket instead as he tries to deliver an oven in a hand cart.

Only Smiler is a highlight of the show these days.
