  Sue Ellen Ewing : Thank you.

  Avery : But there's no sense in having you try to drink it all in one night.

  Sue Ellen Ewing : [chuckles]  Oh! Sure there is, because the glass is empty.

  Avery : Why don't I call a cab and have you driven home?

  Sue Ellen Ewing : [shakes her head]  Well, thank you very much, but... well, Avery, I'm not going home.

  Avery : Please, why don't I have you driven wherever you're going?

  Sue Ellen Ewing : [stares at him a while, then zips up her purse]  That's very kind of you, but... I don't know where I'm going. Thank you.

  [gets up, walks out] 

• Bartender : What would you like, m'am?

  Sue Ellen Ewing : [takes a long time to answer]  Vodka. On the rocks, please.
