Trivia:
During the only scene in which Kenny's ex-wife appears on camera (when dropping off their son), her image is pixellated. At the St. Kilda festival event a woman complains that she has dropped her ring and needs assistance in its recovery. Both roles are in fact played by Vicki Musso.

Goofs:
Continuity: Kenny and son are traveling to the Ocean Grove caravan park where his father lives. On entering the park the camera is focused on the back of Kenny and his son walking toward Kenny's father's cabin, you can see the right-strap of Kenny's overalls 'inside-out' and twisted. As they get closer to the cabin and the front door you see the right strap of Kenny's overalls 'neat' as it should be, however upon leaving his Father's cabin the right strap returns to it's 'inside-out' & twisted position.

We saw an advanced screening of Kenny tonight.
It is hilariously funny, utterly charming and - at times - heart-breakingly honest. The quality of the script and dialogue is only surpassed by the acting.
Kenny is completely believable as a character and typifies the very best qualities of Australian culture, particularly that of the hard-working bloke, in my opinion. It's nice to watch a movie about a genuinely good guy.
Kenny is a hero who shows audiences that doing a hard job well, with justifiable pride, deserves respect - regardless of what the job entails.
Loved it.
