Ozzy Osbourne's son Jack Osbourne is furthering his action man credentials - he's signed up to work for the Air Sea Rescue in California. The 24-year-old has carved a career out of pushing himself to the limit, starring in U.K. TV show "Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie".
He's now volunteering with the Air Sea Rescue in Malibu, and his mother Sharon Osbourne is proud of her son's heroic efforts. She says, "(Ozzy's) worked hard all his life. It's a work ethic we've instilled in out kids."
"Take Jack. He's a reserve cop for Air Sea Rescue in Malibu. It would have been so easy for him to say, 'I want to be a DJ.' Every idiot today wants to be a DJ. All they have to do is stand there and have no personality."...

Jack Osbourne will dive into a volcano as part of a stunt for his death-defying reality TV show.
Osbourne will jet to New Zealand on Wednesday to start shooting the latest instalment of his show Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie, which follows his exploits as he travels the world seeking daredevil challenges.
The 23 year old's mum Sharon Osbourne reveals, "He's getting ready to go to New Zealand to bungee jump out of a helicopter into a volcano."
And the rock matriarch admits she and husband Ozzy constantly question their son's sanity: "We go back and forth on this. Is it better drinking and taking drugs or jumping out of a helicopter into a volcano?"
Now sober, Osbourne once checked into a teen rehab to kick his addiction to booze and prescription painkillers.

The Osbournes are set to return to the small screen as hosts of a new U.S. variety series.
Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly will host the as-yet-untitled show, which will feature musical performances and comedy sketches - and may even include a segment dubbed The Osbournes Meet the Osbournes, in which the hosts will spend time with another family named Osbourne.
The six-part series, due to launch with a Christmas special, will also see former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy "skewering pop culture" and will play up the sibling rivalry between 23-year-old Kelly and her brother Jack, 22, reports Daily Variety.
Mike Darnell, Fox Network's President of Alternative Programming, says, "We've been talking about how to renew the variety show concept and make it feel new for years now."
The Osbournes first made names for themselves as a clan with the worldwide success of their 2002 MTV reality show The Osbournes.
Since then, the family has made several ventures into TV presenting, with matriarch Sharon judging America's Got Talent and the first four seasons of British singing competition The X Factor.
Thrill-seeker Jack has his own U.K. show, Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie, while Kelly is the host of Project Catwalk, the British version of hit U.S. fashion design series Project Runway.
