• [after they were found guilty on most unfair trial and banished from earth, the Autobots are on the spacecraft, provided them by Berger, while Cosmos is flying outside the ship, believing they are on the way to Cybertron. Unknown to them, Megatron sabotaged Teleraan 1, altering the ship destination to the sun and destroying the computer's communications] 

  Ironhide : Are we going anywhere, Cosmos, or is this a tour of the stars?

  Jazz : Lay off him, Ironhide. He didn't cause our problems.

  Ironhide : You're right. Maybe we ought to take it out on the one who got us into this mess

  [Ironhide clutches his fists] 

  Optimus Prime : I did what was necessary.

  Huffer : But we lost, and the Decepticons won, and we bought a one-way ticket to nowhere!

  Cliffjumper : There's still time to change our mind...

  [Cliffjumper stands and rushes to the cockpit] 

  Optimus Prime : [muses loudly]  Perhaps I did make the wrong decision... Cliffjumper, turn us around. We're going back to Earth!

  Cliffjumper : [clicking the controls, then recoils in horror]  The ship isn't responding!

  Optimus Prime : What?

  Cliffjumper : [clicking the controls, then turns to Optimus]  Major malfunction. Our course is locked in!

  Optimus Prime : [realizing what's wrong]  They've jammed our guidance system! Hound, check our destination.

  Hound : At once, Prime.

  [Hound activates his sensors, then exclaims in horror] 

  Hound : We're targeted for... the sun!

  [Hearing this, the Autobots are at panic, exclaiming "What?" "The sun?"] 

  Optimus Prime : [regaining his composure]  Cosmos, make up with Teletraan 1.

  [Cosmos activates his communication system, then calls in horror when this also fails] 

  Cosmos : Negative, Prime! I can't interface!

• [as the Autobots' spacecraft gets closer to the sun, its metal body begin to melt due to the immense heat. The sign "BERGER INC" is burnt. Brown vapors rising from the Autobots' bodies] 

  Bumblebee : Hey... my circuits are overheating!

  Huffer : We'll, uhh... we'll...

  Hound : We'll vaporize!

  Optimus Prime : Cosmos... take action!

  [Cosmos also suffers the same damage from the heat] 

  Cosmos : Like what?

  Optimus Prime : [straining to speak]  If I knew, I'd do it myself!

  Cosmos : [transforms to robot mode]  I guess anything is better than nothing...

  [Cosmos enters the spacecraft and clicks the controls] 

  Ironhide : Well... any luck?

  [Cosmos clicks the controls, then raises his hands in despair] 

  Cosmos : No...

  [the spaceship continues its deadly, unstoppable course into the sun] 

• [At the Decepticons' base] 

  Shawn Berger : [to Megatron]  You promised me three cities!

  Megatron : [laughs sarcastically]  So, still trying to up the ante? How pathetic...

  [Megatron and Berger are watching on screen the Autobots' spaceship. As the ship gets closer and closer to the sun, Megatron laughs viciously, rubbing his hands in sadistic pleasure. At the spaceship, the Autobots collapse one after another, unable to function. Optimus Prime looks sadly at the other Autobots] 

  Optimus Prime : No... chance... left.

  Megatron : Five, four, three, two, one - zero!

  [the spaceship hits the sun and explodes on impact] 

  Megatron : It's over! The Autobots are subatomic particles. Now, Berger, I believe we have a press conference to attend.

  [the Decepticons and Berger leave the base] 

• [Millions miles from Earth, in deep space, the Autobots are safe: Trailbreaker activated his force-field, surrounding the other Autobots with it. Cosmos pulls the force-field, with all the Autobots inside it, toward the sun] 

  Bumblebee : Huh, if it hadn't been for your force field, Trailbreaker, we'd be molecules now.

  Optimus Prime : You did well, Trailbreaker. Cosmos, put it in gear and let's get back to Earth. Cosmos, we're heading back toward the Sun! What's the problem?

  Cosmos : Sorry, Prime. My navigational systems are still controlled by Teletraan 1.

• [at deep space, Cosmos continues pulling the force-field with all the Autobots inside it. The moment Thrust damaged Teletraan 1, Cosmos feels that his navigation systems are free at last] 

  Cosmos : Hey! I got control back!

  Optimus Prime : Teletraan must have canceled the override.

  Cosmos : I don't know who did what, but I don't care... we're heading back to Earth!

  [Cosmos changes direction] 

  Cosmos : I hope I have the fuel reserves.

• [after the Air Force retreated, Megatron boasts his victory] 

  Megatron : You see? Even Earth's mightiest warriors cannot stop us. Soon, other cities will fall, then others, one after the next... until Earth is ours!

  [Megatron points his arm-cannon at the prisoners] 

  Shawn Berger : No, I won't let you!

  [Berger rushes toward Megatron, placing himself in front of the other prisoners. With slight move of his hand, Megatron knocks Berger down] 

  Megatron : Grovel for my amusement!

  [Megatron points again his his arm-cannon at the prisoners, who are paralyzed with fear. Suddenly, loud noise is heard from the outside, as if many vehicles are heading to the power plant] 

  Spike Witwickey : You hear that? It sounds like...

  Chip Chase , Sparkplug Witwicky : [excitedly]  Autobots!

  Optimus Prime : [his voice is heard from outside the building]  Megatron!

  Megatron : No!

  [Megatron blasts a hole in the near wall, scaring the workers away. He runs outside and is shocked to see all the Autobots there] 

  Megatron : Impossible! I saw you disintegrated!

  Optimus Prime : Illusion, Megatron. Just as you made the people of Earth see us as villains - so we, too, staged an illusion.

• Megatron : Decepticons, assemble for battle!

  Optimus Prime : [transforms]  Autobots - transform!

  [the Autobots transform into robots mode, pointing their weapons] 

  Ironhide : And let's show 'em a little reality...

  Megatron : No missing!

  [the Decepticons open fire. The Autobots hesitate for a moment, then return fire. Optimus Prime shoots at Starscream, severely hits him. Starscream yells in agony and collapses] 

  Megatron : Keep firing! Don't leave an Autobot standing!

  Ironhide : Come on, guys! Let's wrap this package of Decepticon garbage!

  [Spike, Sparkplug and Chip get close to the hole in the wall] 

  Chip Chase : Who's winning, Spike?

  Spike Witwickey : [smiles]  guess...

  Starscream : [struggling to his feet]  It's no use... we're outnumbered.

  [once again, Starscream is shot and collapses. Megatron looks back and sees that nearly all the Decepticons are down, severely damaged, unable to fight] 

  Megatron : We've lost the advantage!

  [Megatron, as always, is the first to flee. The other Decepticons transform and follow their leader in shameful retreat] 

• [last lines] 

  Ironhide : [frees Chip of the electronic handcuffs]  Uhh, there you go, Chip. Free.

  Chip Chase : Huh, thanks, Ironhide! Is there anything you can't do?

  [the Autobots and the ex-prisoners are gathered outside the power plant] 

  Mayor : If you can ever forgive us, Optimus Prime, please stay here on Earth.

  Shawn Berger : [genuinely remorseful]  I doubt anyone will ever forgive me, but I'll... I'll make amends. I'll... I'll disband my private army.

  Sparkplug Witwicky : [sarcastically]  Oh, that's real *big* of you, Berger. They all quit when they found out what a dog lunch you are!

  [one of Berger's ex-guards nods in approval] 

  Shawn Berger : Well, um, I... I... I said I'm sorry.

  Optimus Prime : You are going to face justice, and may it be kinder to you than it was to us. Autobots, transform and roll for home!

  [the Autobots transform into vehicles and drive to base with their three loyal human friends]
