In S3E21, when discussing graduation tickets, Ryan tells Sandy that Nana Cohen can use one of his tickets. Then, when Ryan visits his mom, Dawn asks if she can bring a friend implying that her boyfriend Ron would also attend. Neither Nana Cohen nor Ron are at graduation and no explanation is given for why neither showed up.
The flag seen at Harbor when they are graduating is same as the cover design for the band "Rooney"'s self titled album.
When discussing photography before the graduation ceremony, Sandy tells Seth that he'll have to explain "the whole Ofoto concept" to his nana, who isn't good with the Internet. Founded in 1999 by Lisa Gansky (CEO of GNN, the first website ever to include clickable ads) and Kamran Mohsenin (founder of Tunes.com), Ofoto was aimed at online photo sharing and printing.
Acquired by Kodak in 2001, Ofoto was renamed Kodak EasyShare Gallery in January 2005, some 16 months before this episode first aired. Later contracted to Kodak Gallery, the oft-renamed service peaked at over 60 million users in 2008.
After parent company Kodak's 2012 bankruptcy, Kodak Gallery's customer base and user data were sold and transferred to its main rival, Shutterfly, which had launched on the very same day as Ofoto back in 1999. The Kodak Gallery service was then shut down, bringing an end to what remained of Ofoto.
