- The girl in the film is 13, however she is played by a 18 year old teen.
- At the start of the film, it is heavily implied that a young girl's stepfather is shaving her lower body hair. Her mother finds out about this later, and is very upset.
- A young girl looks at photos in a pornographic magazine. We see the photos, as well as imaginary sequences containing the women in the photos. Bare breasts are seen several times during these sequences. The young girl apparently becomes aroused by these photos, and has an orgasm. During several points in the film, she shifts her legs and her hips back and forth to cause herself to have orgasms.
- A young girl's pedophilic neighbor grabs her breasts, reaches around from behind her, and puts his hand down her pants. She starts complaining that it hurts, and when he pulls his hand out, it has blood all over it.
- A young girl lets a young man shave her lower body hair. He tells her afterwards that he'll be more than happy to do it again once it grows back.
- A young man puts his hand up a young girl's shirt and feels her breasts. She has an orgasm. He then proceeds to ask her if she would like to watch him masturbate. She says yes, and he pulls his pants down, and we see his hand moving and his facial reactions. However, the phone rings and he stops.
- A young man and a young girl have sex, with graphic movement.
- A young man and woman prepare to have sex. He pulls out a condom, and she climbs on top of him. The neighbor hears her moaning and walks down the hall to see what is going on. They stop what they are doing before they get caught.
- A young man and woman have sex again. There is movement, and he asks her if she has come. She says that she hasn't. He tells her that the woman is supposed to come first, and then they continue to have sex with graphic movement.
- A pedophilic neighbor asks a young woman to strip for him. She does. He then asks her to lay down on the floor. The scene cuts to an exterior shot of the house for a few moments. It is implied that he has sex with her. When we return, the neighbor is zipping up his pants, and then he gets up and leaves.
- This film is obviously very sexual in nature.
Violence & Gore

- Several scenes with bloody tampons.
- A young girl's father forbids her to wear tampons. He finds a used one in the toilet, and kicks her out of the house.
- A man runs over a kitten, and stashes the remains in the freezer.
- A man has blood on his hands after molesting a young girl.
- A man strikes his daughter numerous times throughout the film, once leaving bruises on her leg.
Profanity

- Several racial slurs, such as "towelhead", "camel jockey", and "sand nigger" are used many times throughout the film.
- Several uses of "fuck" as well as many other profanities.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- This film is a very disturbing study on race, sex, and growing up in the suburbs. There are many instances in which the characters are depicted to be in peril, but there is never any actual violence. The sexual scenes throughout the movie are generally consensual, with the exception of two scenes involving sex with a minor.
- The scenes in which an adult male violently strikes his daughter, leaving visible bruises on her at least once, can be upsetting to watch.
