Factual errors: The film describes the races between 2 or more cars as 'drag racing', which is incorrect as it is in fact a straight line acceleration contest over a fixed distance, usually 1/4 mile. No corners, no interaction between the cars. Also it may be incorrect to describe the races as 'street race' as the first held between cars is a closed road race, however unsanctioned otherwise illegally run, judging by the lack of safety amenities drivers and cars are required to have in a 200mph race such as helmet, 3 layer Nomex suit, rollcage and on-board fire extinguishers. The second gambling race is 'open road' race, similar to Nevada's Silver State Classic, which unlike the actual race, lacking in the required safety amenities.
