• Revealing mistakes: In every scene where Ann is on her death bed, IV poles can be seen in the background. The liquid in the IV bags, however, are never dripping. IV solution has to drip from the bottom of the bag into the IV tube in order to enter the patient. These bags are just hanging there doing nothing.
  
  
• Anachronisms: In a scene in which characters get ready to drive away from the mansion, they are shown fastening seat belts with a shoulder strap. Shoulder straps were not introduced until much later than the mid '50's.
  
  
• Factual errors: Ann points out her star, chosen by Buddy, to Harris as one of the Seven Sisters. The Seven Sisters is the Pleiades, which (in addition to Orion, which is also mentioned) is a winter constellation and could not possibly have been in the sky during the summer, when the wedding took place.
  
  

• Anachronisms: When Ann and Buddy dance around the house, the recording playing is sung by Michael Bublé, who would not have been born, much less been recorded at that time.
