The ninth episode of every season of "Game of Thrones" is the one people remember. The last four seasons gave us the fate of Ned Stark (Sean Bean), the Battle of the Blackwater, the Red Wedding, and the Battle of the Wall. For season five, the memorable action-packed episode was delivered early in the form of "Hardhome", but "The Dance of Dragons" features an ending that should find its way into that pantheon. Before that ending, the show has a bit of business to take care of to set up the finale. In Dorne, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Prince Doran (Alexander Siddig) broker an unstable peace. Doran, again, recounts his horrendous experiences with war which serve to highlight why he is, seemingly, willing to do anything to prevent hostilities with King's Landing. Fans of Scandanavian drama (or at least American remakes thereof) take heart. While AMC axed "The Killing" this afternoon, A&E is moving ahead with another murderously titled show in "Those Who Kill," and have brought on Joe Carnahan to help get it off the ground. Based on the Danish series of the same name, which itself was based on the books by Elsebeth Egholm, the show will follow a detective and a forensic profiler who track down serial killers. And at least in Denmark, the concept had some success. The original run spawned a two-part, 10-episode series that was followed by a movie. But like "The Killing," dipping ratings led to the show getting canceled. But perhaps A&E can do better here. Glen Morgan ("Final Destination," "The X-Files") has penned the script and Caranhan will tackle the pilot, marking his first time in small screen territory since "Faceless...

NBC is serious about finding a successor to departing medical drama "ER."
A day after the network greenlighted "Mercy," an hourlong pilot about the lives of three nurses, it handed out a director-contingent pilot order to another medical drama, "Trauma."
Written by Dario Scardapane ("Faceless"), "Trauma" is described as a high-octane emergency medical procedural that takes place out in the field.
Universal Media Studios is producing with Peter Berg's Film 44.
Berg, his producing partner Sarah Aubrey, and Scardapane are executive producing.
