Some of the most cleverest writing..

Warning: Spoilers
This episode really features some of this series' best writing and situations where the characters of Charlie and Alan can really shine.. Charlie in true fashion for the sole purpose of financial gain has befriended an ad executive who happens to be gay and leads his new benefactor into believing he too is queer.. typical Charlie, but Alan as usual is disappointed in his brother although not surprised. But now Charlie must attend a party given by the ad exec and would rather not go it alone, so he talks (or bribes)Alan into going as his date.. Alan insists on being "the husband" of the two, claiming he's the only one of the two that has been a husband, to which Charlie responds, "You really think that you were the husband in your marriage?"

Alan (in typical Kramerish fashion) adopts the role of the total flamer complete with the mannerisms, gestures, expressions, drama and possessiveness and literally steals the episode. Charlie in the meantime has fallen for the ad exec's gorgeous sister (no way did Lucy Lawless look this good as Xena) and tries unsuccessfully to prove to her that he is indeed straight.. tons of laughs, this is really one of the great ones..
