Audrey accused Richard of destroying the nation's heritage, when he discards a ghastly Adam fireplace, he in turn tries to do something nice for her.
This first series just so good, the scenario is wonderful, and the relationship that's starting to blossom between the two, is what makes this show so watchable.
Definitely a few laughs to be had once again, most of them come from Audrey's wonderfully archaic notions of Little England, and what it takes to be British. Once again, she's left with a little bit of egg on her face, once again it's Richard who's trying to be kind.
Brabinger was put to good use here, his bell system was funny, as were his efforts to clean the fireplace out.
