With the officer needing her leg amputated as a result of the wound, Hooker and Romano, with help from Stacy and Corrigan, investigate the gun thieves, who are selling their hauls to a back-street crime baron...
Another strong episode that features an equally robust performance from Anne Marie Martin ( Prom Night) who plays a cop who gets her leg amputated due to a shootout. Of course, Hooker is angry, frustrated and guilty, and helps the female officer find the courage to live with her problem. Needless to say, he brings the bad guys to book after the usual Hooker-isms- running, car bonnet rolling and uttering the words "scum" and "punk" to the bad guys.
