Back in the day t v would use the word bum instead of homeless. In boxcar Willes fashion it was all men who had hats, and old forties style clothes. T V has changed! Well there is a murder out there and skid row has three dead. What makes Legion of the Lost interesting is Stone becomes under cover at skid row. There is a caring side for Stone with the lost. There is Leslie Nielsen as the ex boxers tough, and I keep waiting for a Naked Gun comment, gag during the whole show. That is beside the point. There is plot twist which is sharp and worth watching. 6 stars. A good way to end season 1.

Winos are being beaten to death so Mike goes undercover in the Tenderloin.
A good episode, two great guest stars. Leslie Nielsen plays Jake, an ex boxer who hit the skids. Dean Stockwell is Junior, a former playboy who is now a homeless alcoholic. His sister cut ties with him. Keller has a funny moment when he tells undercover Stone to "Get outta here ya bum!" A pretty good mystery loaded with red herrings.
