- O'Neill and the team return to Cimmeria, the planet where they destroyed Thor's Hammer to help Teal'c escape. They find that the Goa'uld have invaded and many of the people are dead. Can they help to find Thor's weapons to fight off the invasion before they are all captured or killed?—Anonymous
- When the SGC learns the planet Cimmeria fell under its first Goa'uld (Etin in the Norse vocabulary) attack in ages, SG-1 insists on returning there, feeling utterly guilty as they destroyed its protection, Thor's Hammer, in order to get back alive themselves. They soon find their friend Gairwyn, who shows them Kindra's grave, by Norse tradition fitted with her favorite possessions, which prove fascinating, including a golden Goa'uld 'divine control' glove which actually works on Sam's hand, presumably the result of the Tok'ra Jolinar's temporary presence in her body, although badly controlled due to lack of experience. The attackers came in pyramid ships with Heru'ur, a particularly feared warlord, son of the late Ra and Horus, all Egyptian gods, and had already killed half of the Norse, but even larger ships must be expected, too much to blow up even with all their C4. Their best hope is the Hall of Thor's Might, where his mythical power would, according to tradition, be stored, another of Thor's high-technology hologram-homes, which submits them to tricky tests, worst and yet best for acrophobic Daniel. In the end, they have a surprisingly disappointing meeting with an even more surprising final twist.—KGF Vissers
- The SG-1 team returns to Cimmeria after they learn the Goa'uld have invaded. They feel responsible for the local inhabitants as it was SG-1 that destroyed their defense mechanism known as Thor's Hammer. With the help of Gairwyn, they are taken to the few survivors but soon have an encounter with a very powerful Goa'uld, Heru'ur, the son of Ra and Horus. Sam seems to have some control over the Goa'uld hand weapon but will not likely master it immediately. While Jack and Teal'c set traps on the planet's surface, Sam and Daniel set off for the Hall of Thor's Might, where Gairwyn believes there is a mighty weapon available. They find themselves in an enclosed room and have to pass a number of tests, however, to get access to the weapon. In passing the tests, they meet a new ally.—garykmcd
- General Hammond sends a probe to Cimmeria, and the SG-1 receives a request for help from Gairwyn. They realize that the destruction of Thor's Hammer to save Teal'c made the planet vulnerable to the Goa'uld invasion, and they feel responsible for the fate of the people. They decide to return to help the locals, and Daniel, Samantha, and Gairwyn have an encounter with Thor.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
