One Of The Best Medical Television Shows Ever

In its last season, St Elsewhere continued to produced excellent episodes which managed to combine both humor and drama. "The Idiot and the Odyssey" was a superb example, something which seems to be lost on the one and only review currently available at this time. The reviewer even calls the character Jack Dodson portrays in this episode "Howard Sprague," a character from "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Mayberry RFD" instead of calling him Judge Farnham. The reviewer clams that Dr Westphall had done nothing but whine for the last two seasons, but this that is exactly what this reviewer has done for his last few reviews: complains and whine. Why is even watching this show if he dislikes it so much?

Ehrlich. Yuck!

How a character can be portrayed with so much talent for his job and be a disgusting human being in every other way. He chases after this woman without any regard for the implications of his actions. It's not even funny. Then we have Westphall willing to sell out Howard Sprague over his own ego. He has done nothing but whine for the last two seasons. Jack really is a basket case and needs help, not a family. There never was an excuse for the gun business. How dark can a show get.
