The 1st episode from Aaron Sorkin's TV debut, and it's a facinating thing, because not only do we see evidence of his sharp writing style, but the characters feel a bit like prototypes for ones he would write in other shows.
This is a smart, funny episode - and not just because the annoying/unneeded laugh track tells me it is.
