The Alien Costume is my favourite three-part storyline in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, period. I just love how it builds up the tension between Peter Parker/Spider-Man, the symbiote and Eddie Brock.
When J. Jonah Jameson's son returns from a space mision retrieving an all new energy source, he sadly crashes on the George Washington Bridge because of a mysterious black goo brought on board attacking him and his crew on the space shuttle.
Spider-Man saves Jameson's son and gets acqainted with the black goo which gives him enhanced strength and other improvements. But the Kingpin and his goons are also out to get it and from there the fights begin on so many levels.
I Love all three parts for different reasons, but the build-up of tension begins from the second the pt. 1 begins.
