The Reunion (#1.8)
ComedyFan20104 August 2014
Warning: Spoilers
And like many other reality shows here is the reunion when we see our stars Paris and Nicole meeting again the family they lived with, the bosses they had, all the people from the town including the hot boys they hung out with. They answer all the questions and at the end give the family a great car.

I usually think the reunion episodes are like the best part of a reality show. This has totally failed here as the show was obviously fake and no serious drama or back stabbing happened. It is one thing when on Big Brother people talk about how somebody they thought was their friend talked behind their back, but it was pretty useless here.

What would Marx say about this show? (DVD)

I didn't watch the show for Hilton or Richie but to have a look of rural America, being fed up with eternal LA! I am surprised that country America gets up very early. Every one works hard here and there isn't much concurrence because one need is answered by one company. There wasn't poverty in the streets also or jobless people but a lot of overweight people instead. In a little town like this, it's true that young has really no place to hang out (movies, shops, ...) and as in King's novels, you can't keep secrets in those community because news moves as fast as a prairie fires. Maybe the Denning farm wasn't very cool but it was big and it was modern. From my personal experience, going to country in France was to live in derelict houses that people spend their life plugging over and over.

In this ethic and working world, you add two brainless, spoiled girls. Personally, i would slap or strangle Richie first because she is always the one who starts the mess. Paris is more caring but sorry, she has no brain! Life isn't about getting dressed, modeling and kissing boys! They ignore anyone or anything because they know that their money would always be there to help them. Thus this show proves that big money = big corruption and that kids from bourgeoisie, wealthy class are brats. They have everything to get the best education, values and morality but rather prefer to have fun and throw away their life. Parish and Nicole are responsible but not guilty because the show should have turn their camera to their parents: what do they think? What they do in their life instead of educating their children?
