ALONE is an episode with some heavy-handed metaphors present. A rogue psychic is wreaking havoc, so all psychics are being rounded up in internment camps, just like the Japanese in America during WW2. The rest of the episode is rather ordinary, lacking the kind of menace or tension that you'd expect from such a story.
