Setting Sun

Summer for me is always one of my favorite times of the year, it's hard to say why. Only bad thing about it for me is that both comic book, movie, and video game sales are really slow. Though for me the real reason I love summer is that it just gives me a good feeling, from that sun just lighting the enviorment up showing that things really aren't so bad at all and just the great feeling of freedom to do what you want or embrace a different experience. Which is why for me it is really sad when summer ends, because it reminds you how fleeting time truly is, everything you do and everything that has happened at that time ends with it.

This is my seventh favorite episode of the show, I'll admit it's interesting seeing Zack have another serious relationship in the show, most of the time it was always just another GF of the week. I really like the Stacy girl whom I thought is kinda hot, she has a smart alec but also warm persona. Both of them felt right for each other, their were sparks flying.

There are a few subplots in the episode but those by their nature are really just filler. The really plot line is in both Stacy and Zack. I really liked seeing Zacks feelings for her come though from seeing him trying to somehow get both Stacy and her father to patch things up with each other in clever Zack Morris fashion.

But the true highlight to me are the final minutes with Stacy which I'll admit are bitter sweet as summer is ending, so is the club, which means both are going to go their separate ways, back to their lives. The final words both exchange with each other including the dance are just sweet. We then see Stacy walk away from Zack slowly and Zack stays still and says softly and sadly, "Good Bye." I'll admit there was a lot of truth to this as most of us have been though summer romances and had to depart at some point, it's always painful but like the changing seasons that just how it is.

We then see in the final scene, Zack is sitting on an empty and quiet beach. And then the Bayside gang joins him and then all of them walk away from the beach. At that moment summer is officially over. Despite a brief time together it was one of the best times of Zack's life.
