This 100th ep of "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In" with returning cast members along with John Wayne and Tiny Tim was a blast to watch!

Warning: Spoilers
With this ep marking "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In"s 100th regular one, it celebrates by having many former cast members returning: Judy Carne, Jo Anne Worley, Henry Gibson, Arte Johnson, and Teresa Graves. Yes, Ms. Carne is tricked into saying "Sock it to me!" a couple of times and gets doused for her troubles! Also, Alan Sues impersonates Ms. Worley in front of her with hilarious results. The Judy Doll is back but instead of Arte getting hit, it's Dennis Allen trying to avoid her attempts. Henry once again performs funny poems. And Arte brings back Tyrone and Wolfgang. And, yes, Gladys hits Tyrone in two skits. She also hits John Wayne but breaks character when she says "Someone say cut, I can't keep hitting this man!" Wayne also does his own poetry and shares announcing duties with Gary Owens! And he shakes Tiny Tim's hand and ends up falling from Tim's "strength"! Nice seeing Lily Tomlin do a skit with Ms. Carne who she replaced back in the third season. This show hit all cylinders! So that's a big recommendation of this ep of "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In"!

Season 5 - Episode 8 ~ 100th Episode

Warning: Spoilers
The clock is ticking!... This episode is a self congratulatory show with a number of former cast members returning for the reunion. A lot has happened over the past three and a half years, and the producers wanted to reflect on that. John Wayne is a returning guest and has a few good gags as a Union civil war officer in some bits with Dan Rowen. Tiny Tim returns, but it's old and we have seen it before. My favorite bit was when Alan Sues does a Jo Ann Worley imitation and Jo Ann Worley shows up. Probably the most original bit with one cast member imitating another (former cast member).

You can tell by watching this episode that the show does not have much left. A little more than a year after this episode aired, the show was off the air. From what I have heard, none of the episodes from Season 6 are available due to some contractual constraints involving the show's creator George Schlatter. So enjoy the last few episodes of this iconic television show and piece of American pop culture.
