A tomb raider obtained the key to Pandora's box and has been searching for the box itself all his life, but without success. Upon his demise, he leaves the key to Sydney Fox, in his opinion the world's foremost relic hunter, and wishes her more luck than he had. It takes Sydney and Nigel about 3 minutes to find out they have to begin their investigation in Iraq. After their arrival, it takes them even less than 3 minutes to get into trouble with thieves and the army. A self-made businessman named Ahmid Tabris (Omid Djalili) helps them out of trouble and warns them to watch every step they are taking. Sydney and Nigel offer him money to guide them, he takes it all ('if you insist...') and provides very creative assistance during this adventure. He takes them even into the palace – in the silliest disguise since 'Some Like It Hot'.
When Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) was looking for Pandora's box in 'Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life', it was a lot more impressive with demons in a dark cave. The tiny TV budget of 'Relic Hunter' shows again, but it's still a nice episode with plenty of comedy elements.
