A young Corporal is shot in a car, and an attempted robbery takes place at a bank, where a member of staff is shot dead with a British gun.
I am really enjoying watching this series again, it holds up so well, this is another well crafted crime story. I like that we have two plotlines running at the same time, both strands are interesting.
Lots of action, plenty of gunfire, and of course one big shock.
Julian Wadham is always good, he doesn't disappoint as Cosgrove.
I like how each character is used, it's not all simply about Jo McDonagh playing the Maverick and solving everything. I like the complex relationship between Jo and Neve, I still can't make out if they like one another or not.
It's so good, why on Earth has it never had a commercial release.
