When Cogswell (Jeff Goldblum) asks the conductor (Errol Slue) for the name of the town, he replies "Erehwon" - i.e., "nowhere", spelled backwards.
The dialogue between Cogswell and the old man is almost word-for-word from the Bradbury short story upon which this episode is based.
At the 25:07 mark, as the old man is explaining his plan to Jeff Goldblum's character, a boom mic is visible dropping in over the old man's head. At 25:11 the camera lowers slightly and cuts it out of frame.
