- Upon car pooling to school (after Mary crashed her car on the way to Glamazon practice) Lilly, Sam, Brooke, Carmen and Mary Cherry talk about not having any regrets they come upon a car accident involving whom they believe to be April Tuna. Sam says she does have one regret, not being able to say goodbye to April Tuna. News of her passing quickly spreads through the school, the facts getting a bit stretched, as well as Josh's mullet. Mary Cherry and Bobbi Glass scheme to get a day off from school on Friday in their grief. Unfortunately Krupps decides to call in a grief councilor, which Ms. Glass would rather her take herself elsewhere. Calamity is a bit more out spoken and louder then Ms. Glass, Calamity also taking a shot at Josh's mullet. She talks of the steps. Nicole runs into the new lunch lady Mary Lou Parker who wears a broach that Nicole seems to like telling her about her dead natural mother. Nicole also having a similar broach. Sam runs into Nicole in the Novack telling her about her mother, thinking the news of her death may be greatly exaggerated. Sam helps Nicole out to search for her mother who has not death record, thinking that the lunch lady is her mother, the broach being a diaper pin. Nicole agrees to deliver Tuna's eulogy in return for Sam's help while they track down records for the lunch lady, when Sam receives and email from Harrison that was dated when he was still in the hospital, one for her, one for Nicole and one for his mother. The email to Sam confesses his love to her, Nicole not that interested except only for what Harrison said to her. Later Sam approaches Nicole about the email, Harrison having said some nasty things about her. The next step, Anger. Brooke, Carmen and Mary go to the grief councilor telling her about how they rejected April's odd cheer leading routine, bringing Calamity to tears who is angry with their behavior and treatment of April. Calamity gives them grief homework, to sit with an outcast at lunch in case they crash their car, the outcast being Emory Dick. Sam sits down with Harrison, whom she hasn't had lunch with in a long time, her asking him about the email he sent. Harrison brushes it off as a joke, how he was erasing all his death musings and accidentally hit send, Sam figuring out that is what he did, asking he still thinks he loves her, to which he says yes. Sam is with George, telling her best friend how angry she is feeling he has ruined a wonderful friendship. Lily and Josh are next to see Calamity, telling her how they ignored April who was acting very inappropriately with them wanting to have a menage. Lily suggest an April Tuna scholarship fund, who also takes a shot at Josh about his mullet when he knocks her suggestion. Nicole goes after Harrison, who didn't realize she read her email that Sam got, who has zeroed in her anger on him threatening to out him. Next she goes after the lunch lady telling her she knows who she is, the lunch lady laughing her off telling her she is not Shaggy. Nicole gives her back her diaper pin telling her she knows where she can shove it. The next step being acceptance. Josh visits April's shrine at the school, who wishes he wasn't so mean to her when Emory talks to him about his mullet, to get him to accept it wanting Josh to join his club. Harrison passes by running into Nicole who sports a Bitch necklace and tick tocks the clock to him, soon the school will know what a creep his is. At April's memorial Sam bumps into Harrison who wants her to give them a chance, Sam reminding him they are best friends. Harrison tells her he needs an answer and expects one after the memorial service. Emory is first to speak, which with Sam's instructions who organized the service, he has to tell a story about April, and tells one about April wanting some fruitash from him, which he never did give. The final speaker being Nicole Julian who reads what someone wrote her, saying how big of a bitch she is and how if she has children they will be hideous monsters just like her. She decides not to reveal who wrote that about her because of it being true, after seeing April's shrine, realizing if she died still so angry no one would even care when she gasps at the return of April Tuna. The final step being healing. Josh decides to cut off his mullet for Lily feeling she was right about what she said earlier having raised quite a bit of money with the mullet club for the scholarship. Harrison and Nicole have lunch together who has something for her giving her a identical ring they can wear without saying words so when she sees him wearing it in the halls she will know she is connected to someone and not alone. Before he leaves Nicole wishes him luck with Spam (sam) as lunch lady Mary Lou sits down giving her back her diaper pin revealing she is Shaggy Louise. Emory gives April her fruitash in the janitors closet, finding out that it was Nelly Goustoff a drug addict that stole her car and crashed it. He asks April to the junior prom and they are about to kiss when Lily and Josh come along to tell her about the money they raised for her scholarship fund. Next comes Carmen, Mary and Audrey Hepburn...or Brooke having April choreograph for them. Out in the hall Sam meets up with Harrison, telling Sam he sent the email to her on purpose, not meaning to send the attached one for Nicole. He tells her that when he almost died love is all that matters, asking her to choose. Sam chooses George, upsetting Harrison, Sam wanting to continue being best friends which Harrison can't do, he can't see her everyday, can't talk to her about superficial things always thinking why couldn't she at least tried. Sam asks him if what he is trying to say is that he never wants to speak to her again which he says yes, turning and walking away from her.—Ron Storey
