During some healthy competition while water skiing, Brett and Danny notice the body of a young woman floating on the sea's surface who, unfortunately, was already dead. After the inevitable body identification by the roommate of the deceased and fellow go-go dancer at the "La Rêve" club, Pekoe Rayne, one crucial question arises: how could have drowned so mysteriously the so vital and alive British 500m former swimming champion Julie Blake? Was it an accident or a suicide? As the local Police is reluctant to proceed with a thorough investigation due to the simple facts, the boys will do a little digging of their own and before long, they'll find a rather interesting connection between Julie and Lanning Koestler, a very large international financier whose empire would suffer at the break of a scandal. After all, murder never is an accident.
