When a ridiculous statue of Rick (who was killed by space junk) is revealed, one of Rick's former lovers shows up. Maggie comes to realize that the guy was the consummate womanizer. This literally drives her to drink and to take every opportunity to attack men. While this is going on, Joel is kidnapped by Adam and his crazy hypochondriac wife and chained up. In the other plot element, the cop who Maurice fell in love with finds out he has been cheating on some investments. She is like Javert in Les Miserables and can't see past the letter of the law. She dumps him to the curb, which for viewers is satisfying. This episode further pushes Joel and Maggie together.
