- A female student accidentally goes through a time portal in the college maze and learns that there is no future but there may be time for love. / A man's car break down in a town where all music is outlawed because of an old legend.
- Young college student Susan Thornhill is a shut-in and that's how she likes it. When Wes, a well-meaning student, asks her out, she stands her ground politely refuses. The next day she sees Wes and, feeling awkward, tries to avoid him by going through a hedge maze to her class. Once she finds a way out a very different world meets her. The whole university has become a real ghost town and there's not a soul in sight. When she finally meets another person - her music teacher, she tries to kill her. Susan starts finding dead bodies everywhere on campus and arms herself with a knife. When she finally finds a newspaper, the date on it makes no sense to her. She concludes that the only way for her to get to the bottom of things is to reach the college library. However, what she discovers there disturbs her more than any horror movie. Sometimes all you can do is try to do the best you can with what you have got left.
- Eli's car have broke down and the nearest town is a small place called Harmony. Everyone there seem awfully nice, but for some reason no one sings, even hymns at a funeral, and no one plays music either. Eli meets a cute local woman, who find him lodging while his car is being repaired, but her young brother warns Eli that the townsfolk are a highly superstitious bunch that will even outright kill to prevent anyone from singing, playing or listening to music, because they believe in an ancient legend that playing or listening to music or even singing in the town will awaken an ancient demon they call The Beast that will go on a bloody rampage. Eli tries to dissuade the townsfolk from continuing with their ban on music, but what if the legend is real?
- A mother kills her son when he puts on a Discman. Later, a young man named Eli arrives in the same small town of Harmony when his car breaks down. Everyone is friendly enough, including a young woman named Lucinda and her brother. However, music is strictly banned. Eli soon realizes that the townsfolk believe in a "Beast" that they think is awakened by music. He protects Lucinda's brother Tim when he's caught with a CD and insists the townspeople are misguided. He sings and nothing happens, inspiring the others. Unfortunately, then the "Beast" really does come.
