When Tigger is flipping through the channels at the beginning, you can clearly hear music and sound effects from other episodes of the show, including Paw and Order (1988), Pooh Moon/Caws and Effect (1989), and The Good, the Bad and the Tigger (1991).
This is the first episode in which Jim Cummings took over voicing Tigger from Paul Winchell. He had voiced him infrequently before, but after this episode the change was permanent.
This episode features one of the very few times in the series that another human being, besides Christopher Robin, is shown. Christopher Robin's neighbor leans out the window to yell at intruders in his yard. Even more remarkable, his face is shown, which was atypical for adults in the series, who were usually shown from the neck down.
First series appearance of Skippy, the neighbors dog. He is the central figure of the future episode: A Pooh Day Afternoon.
