When the theme from "I Love Lucy" appears as Fran tries to get into an all men's Wall Street club, you know that she's up to something. Corbin Bernsen makes a guest appearance as a man friend needs in a grocery store who claims to be a stockbroker but only sells hot dogs on Wall Street, resulting in friend trying to get Maxwell out of a business deal disguising herself as a man and creating all sorts of chaos. There's an inside joke to "L A Law" (which starred Bernsen) as well as references to various classic sitcoms thanks to Fran's desperation to come up with an identity quickly. A minor plot Point has Brighton walking around trying to look cool, carrying a boombox and wearing oversized "cool clothing", making a delightfully funny fool out of himself. Bernsen is very good, his look of shock upon being recognized unforgettable. Fans of the Whoopi Goldberg movie "The Associate" will immediately think of that when seeing this.
