Hiding in the Dark

I agree that procedures for the kids did not include them being given their Miranda rights and the specific nature of their crimes. As bad as the result of their idiocy, I can't see a judge not considering it or even throwing the case out. The second involves prejudice as well. There was never any reason for Sipowicz and Sorenson to go after the IRS guy other than the story he told. He should have been treated with respect until the facts were in. If he lied, lay into him. Also, I think that there are some problems ahead with Andy's ex. He isn't thinking past his little boy.

No Miranda Rights

The 2 teenage black kids were interviewed not knowing the man died, questioned not read their Miranda Rights and then charged, not given a chance for lawyers.

The "hero cops" at the 15th threaten a 16 year old w gang ra*e if he doesn't cooperate

That's how thoroughly Americans have been indoctrinated into accepting a police state: These cops are the ostensible heroes of this series, yet this and ongoing violence against suspects and witnesses is par for the course.

It's disgusting.
