Miles reveals a "short" fuse.
mark.waltz19 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A Miles centered episode is rare, but when they occurred, Grant Shaud proved his great talent as a second banana. It's a return appearance of Jane Leeves as Mile's girlfriend, Audrey, picking an auspicious time to move in with him as out of the blue, her ex-boyfriend from England popped up and poses a threat to the living together relationship of Miles and Audrey as he warms his way into their abode and doesn't want to leave. It's obvious that he's scheming to get her back and it takes a lot of courage from Miles to finally stand up to the big lug which shows Audrey what her ex is really all about. Getting some very funny lines and self-put-downs, Miles shows humor in his insecurity, and Shaud turns what could have been a stereotypical nerdy guy into someone who has to grow up and grow a pair, find his self-esteem and stand up for what he wants and against what is trying to be taken away from him. The ensemble around him is quite supportive, especially the tough Murphy who gets some laughs by simply raising her hand at some ironic times.
