• [at the hotel restaurant buffet, Mr. Bean decides to copy the guest from the room next to him. He chooses the same kinds of food, except he takes much larger amounts, then he sits at a table next to his and eats the food in the same order, except in really disgusting ways. When they get to the oysters, Bean puts the shells to his mouth and quickly guzzles them down one after the other. However as the other guest is about to eat his first one, he notices it doesn't smell good and puts it down. By now Mr. Bean has eaten all seven of his oysters] 

  Hotel Guest : [calling over a waiter]  Excuse me. Are these all right?

  [the waiter smells the guest's oysters] 

  Waiter : No. I do apologise, sir.

  [Mr. Bean watches as the waiter takes them away, goes to the buffet and smells the remaining oysters] 

  Waiter : [grimaces]  Pooh!

  [the waiter removes the tray of gone-off oysters from the buffet. Dolly zoom on Mr. Bean frozen in shock and then looking like he's going to be sick] 

• [Having heard a drilling sound, the hotel manager takes the elevator up and knocks on Mr. Bean's Room 426 door; the guest in Room 425 steps out into the hallway] 

  Hotel Guest : Um, excuse me. I've got a bit of a problem. Could you--?

  Hotel Manager : [follows him in]  Certainly, sir. How can I help, sir?

  Hotel Guest : Well, I left my watch in the bathroom, and now I can't open the door.

  Hotel Manager : [turns the handle]  Allow me to try, sir.

  Hotel Guest : Must be jammed or something.

  Hotel Manager : Yes, very odd.

  Hotel Guest : I don't understand. It was all right earlier.

  Hotel Manager : Locked on the other side.

  [our view passes over them through the transom, revealing Mr. Bean scrubbing his feet in the bathtub after having drilled a tall, narrow hole in the wall] 

  Hotel Guest : I really need to get my watch back.

  [Mr. Bean grabs his towel and rubber ducky, steps through the hole into his room, draws the shower curtain and slides the cupboard back to cover the hole] 

  Hotel Manager : [steps out into the hallway]  I'm sorry, sir. Nothing like this has ever happened before. I'll get someone on it right away.

  [walks back down the hallway past Mr. Bean wearing bathing attire] 

  Hotel Manager : Good morning.

  [turns back to look as Mr. Bean steps back into his room]
