"Invasion of the Mork Snatchers" opens with Mindy sending the Orkan to the store just to buy a carton of milk, returning with such an overwhelming urge to confiscate their entire stock that the clerks were heard to repeat their goodbyes at his exit. Mork admits to learning our television signals on Ork, but diverting commercials to other planets! Promptly chastised for a lack of resistance that could put Mindy in the poorhouse, forbidden to browse TV or magazines ("I swear I only buy them for the naked ladies!"), Mork tries to join Bickley for a midnight viewing of "Invasion of the Body Grabbers," promptly tossed out for his preference for commercials over movies. That night, he falls asleep and dreams that Bickley is now 'Mr. Persuasion, your TV guide,' ruler of a world inside the television set, where each character hawks a different product, a suddenly seductive Mindy dancing rings around Mork as he succumbs to consumerism. His report back to Orson includes this priceless gem: "I learned that the greatest energy crisis on Earth is the shortage of willpower!"
