The episode begins with a island chief named Pali Urulu coming onto the base claiming that his coconut trees were destroyed by the US Navy and wants $100,000 for the damage. Well of course Binghamton laughs him off the base but before leaving Chief Urulu puts a curse on Binghamton.
Binghamton thinks it is all funny until he starts having bad luck near every turn. Now Gruber is going to dress up like a local witch doctor and try to remove the curse that is causing havoc in Binghamton's life. It has got so bad that they are sending a replacement for Binghamton if things do not improve.
Even though the story was kind of old, it was still entertaining enough that it never lost interest. Jacques Aubuchon did a nice job of playing the island chief, a part we do not see him in many times. This was also the first episode in the series that Joe Flynn was given more lead way in playing up the character of Captain Binghamton. A nice episode for the seventh show of the series.
