Binghamton finally has a spy on McHale's island.

In this episode, the crew of the 73 have collected a pet parrot they have named Sam. It seems that the parrot has an unique, almost TV magical, way to repeat words by just hearing them a few times. Right now his best phrase seems to be 'Binghamton's a jerk'.

Meanwhile, McHale is trying to get his crew and the nurses together for a little party at an old abandon air-raid shelter on the other side of the island. If all goes well they plan to have a small dance with the nurses that evening.

Binghamton goes over to McHale's island and the parrot gives him some small phrases about things overheard. Binghamton knows something is going down but when the bird starts talking in Japanese (words he heard from Fuji) the Captain thinks McHale is in with the enemy. He calls Admiral Parker over to help arrest McHale and his men for treason.

The idea was nice and the show did give some eye-candy in the form of some beautiful nurses but overall the story just really was not that believable. The plot of the story was interesting but it just lack realism in production. Not really a bad show but one that could have used more work.
