The ranger returns.
Steve Rhoades returns for this episode, on the run from the FBI for stealing a rare egg in order to prevent it being taken to a lab. He hides out at the Bundys' place, but also pops next door to try and reclaim his ex-wife Marcy, unaware that she has since remarried.
Steve was one of my favourite characters from the few few seasons and he's great here as well, locking horns with Jefferson over Marcy. Marcy has no intention of taking back Steve and taunts him with what he can't have, flashing her body in revealing nightwear, Amanda Bearse having a lot of fun playing the sexpot.
In the end, Steve is turned in to the FBI for the $10,000 reward, but who sold him out? The stoolie turns out to be Buck, the Bundys' dog -- a little too daft for my liking.
