Robert Urich is great, as usual, having already perfected the character of Lazarus. The other Robert in this episode, Foxworth, is better than I've seen him in anything else, playing the hired killer who achieves something like redemption by episode's end.
Tobin Bell, an underrated character actor you may remember from "Ruby," is great as the unprincipled bad man who has no qualms about burning his victims to death or holding a woman hostage to lure Lazarus into the open. One look at the character's decayed teeth and you can almost smell his bad breath.
Jennifer Nash is terrific as the self-deluded Abby, who believes the town folk are still alive long after their deaths.
It's not often that there are three great guest star parts in a TV program, but that is the case here.
