Starting on this episode, the Abomination is able to speak properly since Gargole removed the microchip the Leader had installed in his neck. Also, Richard Moll takes over the vocal role of Abomination from Kevin Schon who provided the vocal grunts for the character in The Return of the Beast: Part 1 (1996) and The Return of the Beast: Part 2 (1996).
John Rhys-Davies reprises his role as Thor after his performance on "Fantastic Four: The Animated Series (1994)" when Thor made guest appearances in the episodes To Battle the Living Planet (1995) and When Calls Galactus (1995). John Rhys-Davies previously played Wilson Fisk (also know in comics as the Kingpin) in the live-action TV movie "The Trial of the Incredible Hulk (1989)," which also starred Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk.
The man who recruits Betty Ross is from the DDC. Likely, it means Disease Control Center, a play on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is shortened to CDC.
Although this fight between the Hulk and Thor is more comic accurate, this is actually their second fight outside of the comics. The first was actually in a live-action TV movie "The Incredible Hulk Returns (1988)" which also starred Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk.
It is possible that the brunette doctor is Jane Foster, a Thor supporting character and nurse who works with Dr. Donald Blake.
